Dean's Message

Dear Students,

Tradition and modernity are two characteristics of this Faculty regarding its curricula, activities, departments and its various branches.

The Faculty of (Shariaa) and Islamic Studies ensures that the students study various Islamic sciences from their authentic sources and link them to society's needs and requirements for its development both intellectually and culturally.

The Quranic Readings and Islamic Studies Department has been established to serve the Quran and to spread its sciences and rules. Graduate students from this department will be able to memorize and recite the ten Quranic readings with the study of the interpretation of the Quran, hadith, jurisprudence (fiqh), the language and other essential subjects to form the character of a scholar and a sheik.

The Department of Scientific Facts in the Quran and Sunnah aims to methodologically teach the scientific facts, in order to allow students to explore the rules, conditions and sources of the facts manifested around them according to accurate standards of research.

ترى الكليّة أنّ دور المؤسسات الأكاديميّة لا يقتصر على نقل المعلومة وحسب، بل يتعدّى ذلك إلى التفاعل الحيويّ مع محيطها بكلّ جوانبه وإلى التكامل مع الطاقات الفاعلة في هذا المحيط.

• تهدف الكليّة في المقام الأوّل إلى الرقيّ بمستوى التعليم وسلّم الجودة إن لجهة المناهج أو طرق التعليم ووسائله والتوجيه المعرفيّ.
• إنّ تشجيع البحث واعتباره جزءاً من العملية التعليمية أمر في غاية الأهميّة.
• إنّ الربط بين التعليم الأكاديمي وبين سوق العمل هدف أساسي من أهداف الكلية ومن عملية التوجيه.
• كما إنّ توسيع آفاق الطالب إنسانيّاً بالمعرفة الحقيقية هدف تعمل له الكلية لأن الانفتاح المعرفي جزء من الانفتاح الإنساني.
• إن مؤسستنا الأكاديمية عندها قناعة راسخة بأن عليها ترسيخ الشعور الوطني وشدّ لحمة العيش الواحد بعيداً عن أي توجيه مشوّه يضرّ بالثقافة وبمصالح الوطن والمواطنين.

إن كليتنا تشعر بكل اعتزاز بأنها راسخة الإيمان بالقيم الدينية دون تعصب وانغلاق وهي تعتبر أن فهم حقيقة الإسلام أساس لسعادة المسلمين وغيرهم كما هو أساس في إبعاد كل التشوهات الناتجة عن جهل بحقيقة الإسلام وقيمه الإنسانية.
